
Michail Kalman, Director of the Healthcare Services Group, provides
and directs consulting services to physicians, hospitals, medical
groups, MSO’s, IPA’s, pharmaceutical companies, managed
care organizations and other entities. For more than twenty years
he has been a leader and innovator in the field of healthcare management
and consulting. He has worked with medical practitioners and institutions
to increase efficiency, maximize profitability, strategize growth
opportunities and manage operational change. The Group under his
direction provides custom designed consulting services.
Mr. Kalman is a frequent speaker on issues related to physician/hospital
relations, physician organizational development, healthcare leadership
challenges in a changing environment, and other topics. He is also
the Publisher and Editor in Chief of BRIDGES ©, a newsletter
of commentaries and opinions on healthcare issues and trends.

Cynthia Krimezis is the Director of Branding, Marketing and Communications
services at HQA. Prior to HQA, Cynthia was the President of Deltakos,
the HealthCare Division of J. Walter Thompson. In this capacity
she was responsible for a staff of 70 that worked with such renowned
clients as Eli Lily, Kodak and Columbia University among many others.

Dr. Mihail is a graduate of New York University (BA: 1972), and
the George Washington University School of Medicine (MD: 1980),
in one form or another, his adult professional career has been devoted
to the practice of medicine. After graduation, he completed internship
and specialty residency training (in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck
surgery) at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center. During that time
he was also active in clinical research and published a number of
papers related to work he did at the National Institute of Health
(NIH). Having completed his training he then held numerous leadership
positions at various Army medical facilities both within the United
States and Germany. In civilian practice he held numerous clinical
faculty positions at various universities, to include the University
of California at San Diego and the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary
(Harvard). Board certified in Otolaryngology, and Facial Plastic
and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Mihail is also a fellow of both
the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the American Academy
of Otolaryngic Allergy. In 2003 he completed a full-time MBA program
at the Zicklin Graduate School of Business (Baruch College, City
University of New York) with a concentration in Marketing. Currently
he is a member of the Mid-Hudson Medical Group and Director of Medical
Marketing with Health Q Associates, Inc.
